What our customers had to say about their experience with Sit Means Sit.

Darcy graduated!!!! 🎉🥳 Our sweet, timid 1 year old adopted golden Pyrenees is a completely new dog after just 5 full days of boarding/training with Christine! We got her back before Thanksgiving with family and it was a hectic one with kids running around everywhere, jumping around to different houses and not only did she keep her commands, but we were so surprised with the difference in her confidence! She was so scared of a leash, even the sound of the drawer where we kept them made her run off and she would not come to you after. If we ever got her on one it was from carrying her to the car and putting the leash on her while she was in the backseat. We never imagined her being able to do “tricks” Christine taught her (with how much work we thought she needed) but not only did she learn to place, stay, come, sit-she is calmer and less skiddish!! Our first big walk with her was at the Colonial Tree Lighting ceremony and she made it out of the house, down to the park and back effortlessly-like there was never an issue at all! Can’t thank Christine enough and the Sit Means Sit team for the miracle they worked!! Very nice, great customer service and the LOVE they have for your animals 🥹🙏❤️🤗 an investment for sure, but worth every penny!!

Christine was amazing with our australian shepherd! We had 3 days of training and he is still doing well! They were very attentive to our needs/wants and explained everything perfectly.

Christie is an awesome trainer and did great with my Great Pyrenees. She made him feel at ease and worked through a lot of his stubbornness. I have much better command of my pup now and am grateful for Christie’s support and patience. Thanks to the SMS team!

We are so appreciative to Zack and Christine for all their help with our pup. They are always willing to take the time to discuss any questions we have and help us with his training. Rex has come a long way and this is just the beginning!

Christine, Zack, and Cassie were all absolutely amazing!!! They are all super personable and professional, very helpful with questions and concerns that we had about training and specific things we wanted to do with Layla (or dog)!! Now Layla walks super well, she can get in the car much better (which was a huge problem for a while) and she’s overall more obedient and asks for permission more often! Double points that I met Christine out in public and she took the time to tell me about training even though she wasn’t on the clock, and she was super enthusiastic about it! Now that Layla is graduated we will definitely be coming back for group and private lessons (which were included in the original cost)!!

Everyone there was friendly and knowledgeable on how to train our dog Diego and us. They made it simple enough that our 10-year-old was able to control Diego when needed on the first day. The best thing about Sit Means Sit is that our family can enjoy Diego all the time.

Sit Means Sit was life changing for the relationship I have with my golden retriever, Bunny. I love her so much but before training she pulled on the leash, had a terrible recall and she was super excitable which made her difficult to control. She was always sweet as can be but just not a good listener. Our goals were to be able to take her places, walk her without being pulled and have her come when called. I’m happy to say we accomplished all of our goals and then some. Bunny understands what’s expected of her and she listens and everyone compliments what a great dog she is. We saw improvement in the first week! Not only that, Bunny really genuinely enjoyed going to the program and loved all the trainers! Sean, Kayleigh, Chloe, Alexa and Dominic were all incredible kind and helpful. They loved Bunny and I felt like they were non judgmental and very clear when they were showing me how to maintain the training and answer all my questions and concerns. This was our fourth obedience school and the only one that worked. If you want a dog who listens, enjoys the training and an overall better relationship with your dog, don’t bother going anywhere else. We got the diamond package and drove back and forth to Wilmington each session and it was beyond worth it.

I can not recommend them enough! I have a rescued 9 year old German Shepard/ husky who was terrified of dogs and we never thought we could have a dog because of her fears. Sit means sit has made that possible for us. She went to the one week board and train and fell in love with the trainers. She gets so excited to see them and even gave one of the female trainers kisses in her face which never happens with females. We have done months of one on one and group classes and she has bloomed and become such a happy and confident dog. We were able to reach our big goal of bringing another dog home and she was perfect! Her training paid off and it showed. She acted like she knew our other dog her whole life in just the first day. Sit means sit is worth the price and their training does work as long as you put the effort in as well. They teach you to work with your dog and build a strong bond.

We took our rescue to Sit-Means-Sit because of being between a rock and a hard place. His reactivity while on walks was making it VERY STRESSFUL to take him out. We tried two other training facilities before Sit-Means-Sit, yet no success. With the help of the INCREDIBLE trainers Dominic, Morgan, Katie, and Cassie – Obi is on his way to being the confident pup we know he can be! We are looking forward to continued support and reactivity classes! We HIGHLY recommend this incredible place to learn about how to truly help your beloved pup!
Thank you everyone for creating a space that was judgment free so that we can give Obi a long happy life!
